In the picture we can see a devices which function is to connects two dissimilar networks. This mean that we are able to connect and provide communication between an H.323 terminal and SCN networks. SCN mean switched telephony networks or public switched telephone network. We could do that because by the translating call setup and release, converting media formats between different networks, and transferring informatino between the networks connected by this devices. Although they provide important services such as addressing, authorization and autentication of all terminals. They also may provide call-routing service. All this devices are simply to install and the important is that they rally vorked.
